Many employers might balk at the prospect of having to convince their workers to accept their employee benefit packages. That's because they might perceive that company-provided plans aren't as palatable to workers as other sorts, depending on the industry and geographical area. However, this isn't quite the case and shouldn't be cause for insecurity about employee compensation.
For example, a study by Deloitte reveals that staff opinions of their employers' insurance plans are actually quite high. In fact, the most undesirable package is Medicaid, which only 79 percent of users reported covered them fully or adequately. In fact, the only type of plan that ranked higher than an employer-sponsored one (with 95 percent reporting satisfaction) was military coverage (97 percent), which naturally isn't open to the entire working public.
This is good news for companies that want to adequately compensate their employees because it indicates that they have some leverage when it comes to insuring workers. If personnel are looking for company-provided insurance and other benefits, they will be less likely to make untenable demands. Consult an employee benefit specialists to create an affordable set of services and accounts that will make employees happy and candidates willing to apply.
