There is a great deal of work involved with making sure that workers have the right kinds of benefits to motivate them to work hard and ensure that they stay under the employ of an organization. Personnel value the services that businesses offer them in exchange for work on top of their salaries, but they don't always understand exactly how much their savings can be.
Fidelity Insurance performed a survey in an attempt to gauge the comprehension that employees had about their health insurance. Over 53 percent of workers believed that their employers spent less than $5,000 on their healthcare and other medical benefits. In fact, most companies spend between $5,000 and $10,000 per worker on health insurance alone.
Explaining the cost of medical insurance as well as the effort that goes into securing it in an affordable fashion will prove to workers that there is indeed great value in the benefits they receive. If ever there is a complaint about the lack of money being spent on such services, it should be pointed out to employees that to spend more would be financially prohibitive and harmful to the company.
