According to the Kaiser Family Foundation, which conducted the analysis, annual healthcare costs have the potential to rise by more than 7 percent in 2019. The authors point out that some of the biggest influences on how much costs go up will be attributable to the economy’s resurgence, as well as whether health costs remain modest or go back to where they’ve been historically, which are higher.

According to the bill, business owners may qualify for tax credits as significant as 35 percent to 50 percent in 2014, provided they have low-wage workers, pay 50 percent of their employees’ premiums costs and have a minimum of 25 full-time employees on their payroll.
